Privacy Policy
Effective April 11, 2026
The short version
- No accounts, no sign-in. Antigravity has no login. We don’t know who you are.
- Your tasks stay on your device. We don’t upload or sync them.
- No tracking. We don’t share data with advertisers or data brokers.
- Two things leave your device: anonymous usage events (to PostHog) and your chat messages when you use the AI coach (to OpenAI, to generate replies).
What we collect
Stored locally on your device (not collected by us)
Tasks you add, due dates, notes, completion history, help-session count, and level progress are stored in your iPhone’s local storage (UserDefaults). This data never leaves your device and is not accessible to Antigravity’s servers. If you delete the app, this data is deleted with it.
Anonymous analytics (PostHog)
We use PostHogto understand how people use Antigravity in aggregate — so we know which features help and which don’t. The events we send are:
- app_opened — when you open the app
- task_added— with the number of days until the task’s due date (not the task content)
- task_completed — with whether it happened after a help session
- help_session_started — with how many active tasks you had at the time
- help_session_completed— with the outcome (“did it,” “still stuck,” or “dismissed”) and how many messages you exchanged
- base_level_up — with the new level number and name
- paywall_shown — not used in v1
These events are linked only to an anonymous identifier generated by PostHog on your device. They contain no task titles, no chat content, no email, and no personal information. We do not use them to track you across other apps or websites.
AI coach conversations (OpenAI)
When you use the Need Help? feature, we send your chat messages and a summary of your active task titles to OpenAIso their model can generate the coach’s replies. OpenAI processes this data under their API data-usage terms, which (at the time of writing) state that API inputs and outputs are not used to train their models by default. Please review OpenAI’s privacy policy for the most current information.
What this means: if you type sensitive details into the coach, those details are sent to OpenAI to generate a reply. We do not store your chat history on our servers — it lives only in your app session.
What we don’t collect
- We don’t ask for your name, email, or phone number.
- We don’t access your contacts, photos, camera, microphone, or location.
- We don’t use advertising or cross-app tracking SDKs.
- We don’t share any data with advertisers, data brokers, or anyone else.
How your data is used
The data described above is used only to:
- Make the app work (your local tasks and the AI coach)
- Understand which features help people beat procrastination so we can improve the app
Data retention
Local data lives on your device until you delete the app. Anonymous PostHog events are retained according to PostHog’s retention policies. OpenAI’s retention is governed by their API terms.
Children’s privacy
Antigravity is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
Your rights (GDPR / CCPA)
Because we don’t collect personally identifiable information, there is no personal account to access, correct, or delete. If you want your locally-stored tasks gone, delete the app. If you have any privacy questions, email support@antigravity.app.
Changes to this policy
We’ll update this page if our data practices change in any meaningful way, and update the effective date at the top.
